DREAM TO OUR MUSIC!
We write and perform fragile, inspiring and some powerfully forward striving songs, and we hope you get to hear them soon! Our farthest reaching show was at Westfalenhalle for 11 000 listeners, Angela Merkel and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf during the “GIVE IT ALL TOUR” (with my band). But we love playing duo shows in small venues as well.
I am happy to introduce you to my new duo project with the talented piano player and writer UTA FEHLBERG !
As her songs meander between topics I am highly inspired by as well it is to no wonder that our paths have crossed and that we have joined paths to form a duo called MARION FIEDLER & UTA FEHLBERG or UTA FEHLBERG & MARION FIEDLER – as you can see this duo consists of two headlining independent creatives with a passion for inspiring music.
One topic we both passionately write about is flying, finding joy in smaller things like a lady bug landing on your knee – even if it stays for but a minute, this moment is worth a song, and an appreciative exhale (once the beautiful little creature has left).
In short, we love singing about what we consider a fulfilling life. Down-to-earth creative moments can be the best. We mostly enjoy writing songs about how faith and hopefulness play a role in our life, songwriting and lifestyle.
I believe that our audience loves the fragility of our lyrics, at least that is the feedback directed back at us after we have performed. We are excited to know how much our listeners enjoy our music, and how much feeling they find in our melodies and lyrics, how refreshing and uplifting our concerts are for our supporters. And how much fun we are having performing – yes, singing for yall is the best!

For those who have not met Uta Fehlberg, you should. And yay, why not in concert when she is all in? 🙂
Uta is part of my band, but she also plays the duo concerts with me. Ever since we embarked on our duo adventure, I gained new perspectives into music. I play the cello in our little duo, and it feels soooo good! I have lots of fun touring with Uta.
Uta is a heartfelt and kind person, and she dedicates her life to music and its education. In her shows she performs original songs she carved out of her heart, sharing charmingly addictive emotions with each song. For me, it is very important that a songwriter sings from his or her soul. Uta Fehlberg does just that. As a fellow musician, she is polite and reliable, I love creating and touring with her. I am thankful that she supports me and my songs!
Have you listened to her new album “Die Schuhe meiner Mutter” (German for THE SHOES OF MY MOTHER)?
It’s philosophical. This song she wrote for her daughter FELICIA – “Felicia, do you actually know how much I love you?”

I especially like this one. You see us point to a white wall. What is your wall made of? We believe that using songs to color your own life will bring you joy and open your horizon. Thus, we write meaningful lyrics wrapped in our own experience, in what makes us happy, in what we consider joy and fulfillment. So we can share it on with you, so you can paint your own wall even more colorful. And maybe one or two shades are inspired by our songs – that would be an honor for us!
Writing and performing is easy for us, it is our passion! We find meaning in metaphors like flying – just open your heart, and it feels like opening your wings – just give it a try, and you will fly!
Uta is a very talented piano player, and she gives my songs a different direction. I hope you get to hear us play together! Her colorful, rhythmic sensibility enriches the songs we perform during our shows. Uta has studied jazz piano, and is now teaching in Dresden at Kirchenhochschule.
If you want to get to know Uta a bit better, check out her music! Her first album is a perfectly soft dream cast in jazz melodies on piano and with singers and other instrumentalists. The new album has been released at the beginning of 2020, and my bass player Leonhardt Endruweit has performed on it as well.
Uta and have not known each other for two years, but we are inspired to work and create side by side. I met her on a birthday of a friend, and we soon forged our path together. We want to entertain and greet you with some heartfelt music. However, we also want to inspire you.
The very first show and inauguration took place on my birthday in 2019. Ever since we had some very beautiful first sessions, festival shows and concerts in Germany. A very memorable celebration took place during my UNICEF tour at Tierpark Weisswasser.
